Day 7: The Facts

Location: I-80, Nebraska State Line-

The facts:

1. Unexpectedly entered a new time zone
2. While Nebraska isn't flat-it is farmland full of corn. First time on the trip Angela went stir crazy
3. Uyen had her first road warrior breakfast: spicy Cheetos and turkey jerky
4. Officially entered the land of Jesus and big hair
5. Went to our first BIG truck stop. Angela bought horrific mementos
6. Out of state license plates have disappeared-all but Iowa
7. Discovered Lincoln is a town of meat, beer, and college
8. To celebrate we went to a steak place. Angela ordered one damn good steak and ale while Uyen got the salmon
8. Midwestern guys
9. Especially Ross, the waiter at the steak place, who will have 2.5 children with Angela at a later date
8. To ground back to reality, we retreated to the theater to watch "Pineapple Express"
